Green Isoter® B30 100 AS UV GR2509 / PIR
What is this PIR polymer?
This grade contains around 50% post industrial recycled (PIR) ABS. The material is UV stabilised and antistatic. An intentional effect with small gray speckles has been added to create a “stone/granite like” appearance.

Technical benefits
The recyclate is sourced from a controlled environment and the material is therefore of a very high purity compared with recyclate sourced from post-consumer recycling streams. The high purity ensures that characteristics of Green Isoter® ABS are very close to those of 100% virgin ABS material.
Look and feel
The colour of this specific grade is light grey with a speckled effect that creates a stone or granite appearance suitable for visible parts.
Environmental benefits
The use of recycled ABS reduces the environmental impact and increases the
general usage of recycled plastics.
Applications
ABS plastic is a good choice for tough, dimensionally stable, and high-gloss plastic material. Applications include housings for consumer electronics, home appliances, toys, and auto parts. The material is often specified for visible-aesthetic parts, for its speckled marble effect.
Why we chose this PIR polymer
ABS is a widely used material and it reduces the footprint of products in many different industries by simply switching to this ABS grade containing recycled material.
Why you should consider this material
-
You want to reduce the environmental impact of your product but you still need the properties of virgin ABS.
-
You desire a “stone like” aesthetic for your visible parts and would like to avoid secondary processes such as lacquering or painting.
