SKYLONITRILE© rABS 25-12 VDBK ES
What is this recycled ABS?
A recycled ABS grade composed of 100% PCR (post consumer recycled) ABS sourced from WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) or ELV (end-of-life vehicles). It is collected, treated and upgraded by Skytech.
This grade shows standard fluidity, good stiffness, high impact strength and good dimensional stability. It is suitable for aesthetic applications and is delivered in a very deep black colour (VDBK).
Material properties (typical values)

Technical benefits
This grade shows standard fluidity, good stiffness, high impact strength and good dimensional stability.
Look and feel
Appearance and gloss comparable to virgin ABS, It has excellent colour accuracy as a virgin ABS, and is free from surface defects. Suitable for visible and aesthetic applications, delivered in a very deep black colour (VDBK).
Environmental benefits
The PCR sources of this grade are certified by RecyClass.
An LCA shows the reduction of 3,351 tons of CO₂ equivalent per ton of product delivered. Certificate of CO₂ savings is available on demand.
Applications
Visible applications in electrical equipment, small or large appliances,
sanitary or construction.

Why we chose this recycled ABS
Besides it being 100%!!! Post-Consumer Recycled, we were very impressed by the high quality of the material, both in mechanical performance and appearance, especially its deep black colour.
Why you should consider this material
-
You require a high-quality ABS for your product while valuing its reduced carbon footprint.
-
You recognise the benefits of this RecyClass-certified material for supply chain auditing.
About the manufacturer
